Message from the Board of Trustees

Our strategic plan, as agreed by the Board of Trustees, is designed to enable SCHT to provide good affordable housing accommodation for people with learning disabilities and mental health needs.

We have taken a number of steps to improve SCHT governance, including the recruitment of experienced board members that can contribute effectively in the development and operations of the Trust.

This will strengthen governance and ensure that SCHT continues to operate within its legal and regulatory boundaries.

SCHT remains in a strong position and I, together with my fellow trustees look forward to meeting the challenges and achieving our objectives for the coming year. The Social Care Housing Trust is an innovative service, offering a menu of specialized services for people who are considered vulnerable due to their disability and mental health.
